Virginia's Medical Cannabis Program.

As of July 1st 2020, the use of Medical Cannabis is now legal in the state of Virginia. In order to access Medical Cannabis from one of the state’s dispensaries, you first need to receive certification from a physician registered with the Virginia Board of Pharmacy, such as Chinwe John, MD, who is a Board Certified Physician.

Virginia has given permission to the 5 currently approved state dispensaries, to open more branches around the state. In time, this should help make the process of obtaining Medical Cannabis more accessible to the patients who need it.
